Projects that fall under Finance Department include: -
a) Carpentry
This is one of the oldest Income Generating Activity (IGA) of the Diocese. In this section, the skilled staff make wooden furnitures and fittings that are world class. The main customers are the churches and schools across the Diocese.
b) Workshop
To generate revenue, Bishop saw it wise to rent out the space allocated to the Diocese at the Kenya Industrial Estates (KIE) yard
d) Bookshop
All literature materials of the church are sold here.
c) Tea Farming
Tea is Kenya's number one export commodity...
d) Maize Farming
Maize is one of the crops that the Kenya population entirely depend for food security...
e) Pastoral Centre*
This is a multi-purpose facility that offers conferencing, accommodation, meals and outside space services upon request. Their rates are modest and with recent tarmacking of the road leading to this facility - the future of this place is brighter.
f) Welding
Just like the carpentry, this section too has been producing fantastic metal works be it gates, doors, windows, stairs rails - or even roofing - the staff working here cannot disappoint you.
g) Garage
Led by Mechanic David Nderitu, the works done here are commendable. All kinds of vehicles are repaired here:
