Its primary functions include the production of booklets, cards, pamphlets, newsletters, and various print media materials. Diocesan Radio Upendo operates under this Department and serves as a key tool for evangelization. The radio's programming is designed to ensure that adequate spiritual content is provided, enhancing faith formation for all listeners. The Communication Department is led by a Communication Coordinator, while the radio division is managed by a Chief Executive Officer.
